As someone who wears workout clothing on a regular basis, it is always fun to dress up for a night out. And Girl’s Night Out is a fantastic excuse to throw on a pair of heels, get my hair done, and wear a fabulous outfit.
For this Girl’s Night, my friend Kim and I went to see Fifty Shades Freed. To say we were excited was a solid understatement. I know not everyone loves these movies but they are my favorite. And the soundtracks…to die for.
This movie was a perfect excuse to break out my Christian Louboutin heels, and it was a perfect excuse for Kim to wear her Christian Louboutins for the first time. Like I said, our excitement for this movie was all too real and we really wanted to get all dolled up for a fun evening filled with Fifty Shades Freed and Champagne.
Since we were only going to the movie theater, we did not want to be too dressed up. So we paired our heels with some jeans. I find that wearing jeans and heels not only makes your legs look long, it also makes it easier to wear your favorite heels more often. I wore my favorite Levi 501 Skinny Jeans and a simple black tank from Free People to complete my look. And of course since it is February I finished my look off with my FAVORITE leather jacket.
Obviously, pairing any heels you have with a pair of jeans will get the same effect as Louboutins. I personally prefer a pointed toe, it seems to give a more “boss lady” look that I enjoy! Whatever your heel preference may be, any heels with jeans dresses up a casual look from day to night.
Mini Review on Christian Louboutin Heels: If you are looking to purchase your first pair of Louboutins I highly recommend going up at least a half size. I find that they are not the world’s most comfortable shoes if you get the wrong size. I got an 8.5 (39.5) and I find that they fit really well even though my typical shoe size is an 8 in heels. Overall, I love them. It could be because they were my first luxury shoe purchase. Or the fact I purchased them to wear at my Sorority Recruitment Preference Night, which happen to be on my 22nd Birthday! Whatever the reason may be, I am still overly pleased with my purchase!
Mini Review on Fifty Shades Freed: Go see it. It is fantastic. I may be a little biased since I absolutely loved the first two movies, but this one did not disappoint! The love story is really there, it is unconventional, romantic, different, and fun, which is something I love to see. Although, I am sad that it is over! Maybe another fantastic movie will come out next year around this time and I will not be so sad there is not another Fifty Shades movie. Only time will tell!
