Every year during January we are reminded that many people jet around the world to warmer climates to escape the cold. This is why many brands bring out “Resort” throughout the month of December and January.
Unfortunately, I am not jetting off to warmer climates and because of that I have worked to make “Resort” work for whatever climate I am currently enjoying. The easiest way to do this is think of all the pieces as Spring.
Many “Resort” pieces are your favorite pastels, filled with florals and remind you of warmer days that are in the near future. Some of the exact attributes of your favorite Spring wardrobe essentials. Now all you need to do is winterize each piece.
Pair with darker colors, tights, over the knee boots, or a light colored coat and in two seconds you have turned “Resort” into something more wearable.
I promise it is easier than you think, just have to give it a try.
