“Good things come to those who book flights”
In a world full of exciting adventures, I choose to make the most of every second especially when that second is in New York City. With that being said I have mastered the art of going from plane to dinner and what to wear.
Step 1: Choose a Comfortable Piece
Jumpsuits (or Playsuits) are some of the most important wardrobe essentials, in my personal opinion. In the past I have discussed how great they can be during a vacation but they are not only ideal for during your trip but also on the plane ride there. Comfortable, easy, and the best piece that can take you from a casual plane to a dressed-up dinner.
Step 2: Jacket
Planes are famous for their recycled air and chilly temperatures which is why having a jacket with you at all times is essential. This also helps to reduce the bulk in your luggage when packing. I always recommend flying with your bulkiest jacket so you have more room in your luggage.
Step 3: Shoes
While we all know shoes are my favorite accessory, they are also extremely beneficial when taking an outfit from the plane to dinner. For the plane choose a comfortable, casual shoe such as a slide or sneaker. (Reminder: If you are wearing a slide make sure to have socks with you so you do not have to walk through security with bare feet).
As for the shoes you wear to dinner. Choose a heel, this will help amplify the jumpsuit in such a quick and easy way. Making the change from the plane to a lovely dinner taking less than 5 minutes.
Traveling is fun, but we always want to make the most out of every moment and there is no need to waste time changing when you could be headed to a lovely dinner (or brunch) moments after stepping off the plane.
Where are you traveling this summer?
