A Sporty Chic Style

“Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak”

– Rachel Zoe

Walking through life without showing the world what you have to offer makes life boring and dull.  In the same respect walking through life with a bland wardrobe is boring as well.  Sometimes I believe the best outfits come when we are trying something different.

As my style has developed over the years I have discovered what I love the most when it comes to fit, color, brand, and trends.  But I never shy away from stepping out of my comfort zone and dabbling in something interesting.

Enter, the sporty style.  I have never been one to wear many fashion sneakers but ever since I purchased my Gucci Ace Sneakers I find great pleasure in wearing them with all kinds of pieces.  Previously on the blog I discussed skirts and sneakers as well as unexpected combinations but today let’s think about pairing sporty styles together.

Take this fun (Gucci-inspired) C/MEO Collective dress with the red/white banding and asymmetrical vibe this is probably the most “sporty” dress I have ever worn.  Now, add a fun sneaker.  Not only am I playing off the mint/red/white in the dress I have also done a play on the sporty stripe.  Essentially I am combining two sporty looks into one ensemble that shows the world, I can wear a dress but I can also conquer the world.

At least that is the vibe I am working towards and I love every detail.
