I have learned over the years that wearing jeans every single day can not only become boring but also predictable.  In order to avoid becoming too predictable I have decided to trade in my jeans for casual skirts and sneakers.

I found this gingham skirt last summer and I have been obsessed with it.  I originally purchased it to wear with an plain white tank but have realized pairing it with a fun graphic t-shirt is even better (Option 1, Option 2).

Gingham is already casual so dressing it down with sneakers is simple.  But say gingham is not your preference, then I would suggest pairing sneakers with any type of wrap skirt, denim skirt, or linen skirt. I recommend searching on the Revolve website as they have many different options when it comes to skirts.

I paired my gingham skirt and graphic t-shirt with my Gucci sneakers but if you prefer a different sneaker option I highly recommend trying these from Steve Madden, New Balance, Target, or Adidas.

Although if you have had your eye on a pair of designer sneakers I highly suggest the Gucci Ace Sneakers.  They are an investment but are actually comfortable and come in various options.  I purchased mine about 5 months ago and I get a decent amount of wear out of them.  I will throw them on with leggings and a t-shirt or dress them up with a skirt or dress.  Just depends on how I feel that day!

Fashion is all about taking chances, stepping outside of your comfort zone, and being adventurous.  I have learned that while I may not be adventurous in other aspects in my life, I find that Fashion is the one place I know I can be. I do not mind standing out or doing something out of the ordinary.  It is never about what other people think and is only ever about what you think and how you feel!
