While florals for Spring may be far from groundbreaking…they will always be abundant.  I have previously discussed my love for floral playsuits but I never mentioned how perfect florals are as pants.

As the weather transitions and tries to determine what season it would like to be, I have found that breaking out a fun floral pant is ideal.  Transitional pieces are wardrobe staples and a few key aspects I like to find in them include: versatility, wear-ability, and print.

Versatility

When it comes to pants I prefer ones that can not only be worn at work, or dressy occasions, but also worn casually.  The idea that I can wear the pants with a blouse for date night but with a tee for other aspects of life is crucial.

Wear-ability

Whether you prefer the term wear-ability or comfort-ability, you get the idea. Any pants that I have ever owned that are uncomfortable seem to end up on Poshmark or simply never worn.  Surprisingly I find denim extremely comfortable and wearable at all times of the year.  But who wants to wear denim every day, which is why when looking for pants I typically choose a thinner fabric with a lot of comfort.

Print

I love being able to wear my pants for multiple occasions by switching up the top.  The easiest way to make this happen is through a pattern.  Obviously I am attracted to floral, but other prints work as well.  Simply choose a print with multiple colors, this way the top and shoes that can pair well with it are immense.

Whether the weather is freezing or sweltering you can guarantee I have a pair of floral pants ready to hit the road.

What is your favorite transition piece?
