Working out has been a sore subject for my lately. I have been struggling finding the time, energy, or motivation to get to the gym regularly. One simple thing that always seems to boost my motivation is new workout pieces. There is something so satisfactory about working out in a matching set, new leggings, or the perfect (and cute) sports bra.
Whether you are looking for yoga, running, gym, or athleisure there is one place we can not help but venture into every once in a while.
Lululemon.
Did you know that Lululemon has been around since 2000? It is crazy to think that it has been around that long. And although it has been around for 19 years I didn’t purchase my first leggings until 2014, and the collection has been growing since (video tomorrow).
Over the years Lululemon has been dubbed “expensive” due to their average price for leggings is around $100. I realize that if you think about what you could do with $100, it seems that spending it on one item that you plan to sweat in may seem ridiculous until…you actually try them.
Lululemon focuses on creating pieces that are innovative when it comes to technical performance. The quality is worth the price tag, pieces I have had for years still look and feel great. They use fabrics such as Luxtreme, Luon, Silverescent, Nulu, Nulux, and Everlux, which they created. Each fabric is designed for different types of working out, making it more enjoyable and comfortable.
So, if you have questioned whether Lululemon is worth the price tag I would say yes. And I would highly recommend you give it a try. Here are my 3 pieces that I can not live without and recommend as a starting point…
Align Pant (Low Intensity)/ Train Times Pant (High Intensity), Free To Be Bra, and Tracker Short
What are your favorite Lululemon pieces?
