Are you ready for all the Autumn trends that are already hitting the stores this season? While the weather does not get us in the Autumnal feels quite yet, we can all start dreaming of the pieces we will be wearing over the next few months. I have curated this post (and video) filled with my favorite autumn trends for 2018.
The Prairie Style
Think floral and frolic. You think I am kidding but this trend is all about the simple or even ornate florals on a comfortable and flowing midi or maxi dress (or skirt). I chose this FRNCH dress from Elitaire that fits the description perfectly.
A easy statement in fashion, animal print is the way to stand out above the rest. We will be seeing this everywhere as the weather cools and Autumn hits the streets.
Plaid is back and better than ever. When I think of plaid I immediately think blazer (like here) but there are so many other ways to style this trend for Autumn. Try a blazer dress, blouse, or even skirts. I will be wearing this on repeat all season.
We all need cooler weather to arrive before we attempt to layer anything. But when it does the whole idea of layering is simple. Layer a trench over a cardigan over another cardigan over a top. It really is something so easy to accomplish.
An ode to the great decades before us, tweed is back. Well…did tweed ever really leave. Think classic Chanel or add an edgy twist. We are doing tweed in whatever way your heart desires this season.
When has leather not been on trend for the autumn season? Although this year we are seeing it in not only jackets but dresses, skirts, and pants as well.
I know you have spotted your favorite luxury brands showing off their logo on not only t-shirts but pants, jackets, dresses, and even accessories. My personal favorite are these AMAZING pants from Gucci.
Suits are my current obsession at the moment. This obsession started this past Spring but it only grows stronger as the suits become more Autumnal. I have been falling for the skirt and blazer combination.
Even simply writing about Autumn has me more excited than ever. What is your favorite season for fashion?
