Wedding season is upon us so it is time to start thinking about what we plan to wear. Everyone knows that wearing white or cream to a wedding (bridal showers, bachelorette trips, etc.) is a major no. So what do you wear to a Spring Wedding?
As Spring approaches every department store, boutique, or online store seem to cater to Brides. EVERYTHING is white. And if you are like me, you are automatically drawn to the beautiful white jumpsuits, dresses, pant suits, etc. But my tip, if you are shopping for a wedding is just avoid the white/cream section of any store. I promise it will help.
Getting to what you can wear to a wedding…florals, colors, jumpsuits, maxi dresses, midi dresses, skirts and more. The possibilities are endless.
I have decided to show you all two perfect options from Elitaire. The first dress which actually inspired this post is this gorgeous blue midi dress with lovely lace details. I would wear a dress like this to any type of wedding (beach, cocktail, semi-formal, etc.).
My second dress is just as lovely but a little more formal. It is a blush pink off the shoulder knee length dress. Because of the design and fit of this dress I would definitely wear this to a formal wedding or a late afternoon/night wedding.
Since I live in Alabama and the weather can never make up its mind, some days in Spring are extremely hot and others quite chilly. I have listed options below for each temperature. I highly recommend that if the weather is chilly pop on your favorite blazer and you will be good to go!
