“The temptation to quit will be the greatest just before you are about to succeed”

The idea of having a boring work wardrobe is never fun. Whether you enjoy your job or not, having the ability to spice up your work ensemble with pieces that make you happy can make a world of difference.

We all know I believe the perfect pant is important when choosing wardrobe essentials. But something I rarely discuss is “workwear” or “work pants” since I do not have to wear such to my place of work.

I figured sharing a pant that qualifies as work to play would be perfect for the summer.  I feel many of us tend to enjoy time spent with friends and family after work hours more in the summer than any other time of year.

Colored and patterned pants are easier to transition from day into night as they tend to pair more easily with different blouses/tops.  As far as my “work” look I chose the monochrome route and wore a gorgeous sage green blouse with the pants.  Monochrome is always fun and I can not help but give it a try when appropriate.  For “play” I simply paired my all-time favorite white crop and was ready for after work fun.

The ease of having a patterned pant made changing the top quick and simple, you may have also spotted a closed-toe “work” shoe to a sexy open-toe “play” shoe change as well.  I love altering the vibe of any look with a completely different shoe.

What is your favorite way to transition from day into night?
