A Look Fit for the Beach

In all the years I have loved fashion I have never gravitated towards “beach” looks.  They do not seem to describe my personal style and while comfortable and cute I have never given them a fighting chance…until now.

Over the past several years I have grown to dislike the beach, the ocean is a strong pass (terrified of sea creatures), and now I burn too easily to sit in the sun for hours but I’m heading to the beach in less than a month and I am SO excited.

While I do not normally enjoy a trip to the beach I am beyond thrilled to enjoy a Girl’s Trip to the beach with my mom, sister, aunts, and cousin.  We will be having the best time and I’m looking forward to spending some much needed girl time with my family.  Since the excitement has grown ever since we decided to go I have been all about everything beach related.  From straw bags, sunscreen, and the perfect beach ensemble I am ready to have the time of my life, while also looking fantastic.

There is something that screams “beach” when I look at a comfortable flowing pant especially when paired with a tank and a straw clutch.  Simple, chic, and temperature cool.  It is the best way to explore whatever beach town you may be traveling to and ideal for dinner.  Bring on the shrimp and crab legs because this outfit is going to dinner in less than a month and I’m ready.

What is your favorite beach activity or beach look?
