“Style is all about confidence and looking effortlessly put together”

– Olivia Palermo

Taking inspiration from the Fashion icon herself, Olivia Palermo, we are all about the monochrome look.  While OP sports the neutral monochrome on a regular basis today we are trying something a little different, a lilac monochrome.

If you have yet to hear, lilac is filling our favorite stores from top to bottom, making its way to becoming the most worn color of the year.  Everything from sweaters and shorts to shoes and handbags and honestly I could not be happier.

I have always been a self dubbed pink enthusiast but I can not help but to find this color trend more appealing than any other this season.  I would go as far to say as it is as neutral as one color could be without actually being neutral.  Pairing well with everything, you will be seeing this color over and over again while the warmer months are here.

Now, back to monochrome. Different shades of lilac are easy to find, make sure each shade is different enough and you will automatically have yourself one of the easiest monochrome looks.  I would say that monochrome looks take a little patience but once you figure it out you will be trying it will all your favorites shades.
