The culotte pant and the question can I pull this off tend to go hand in hand. The answer to the question though is a resounding yes. I have seen so many people rock the culotte and everyone does it so well and in many ways. It can be dressed up or down and can be perfect for any occasion. Whether it is a pant or a jumpsuit, the culotte is a trend that should not be passed up.
The ones I am wearing are from Urban Outfitters (no longer available) and I love them. Not only are they super flattering, they are also extremely comfortable. I paired them with a sweater from Banana Republic and my all time favorite booties from Chinese Laundry.
I always get nervous to try out new trends, I feel like if it does not look a certain way or looks too odd then people are going to look at me like I am crazy. Recently, I have been trying to get past the fear of what other people think. There will always be someone out there that does not like what you say, do, or wear. But no matter how many people dislike those things, as long as you are confident then nothing else matters. Be happy in whatever you do, and if that means rocking some culotte pants, well…you might as well do it.
