Bold Colors

Have you ever felt inspired? Inspiration can come from anything.  It can come from people, clothes, movies, and more.  For me, the inspiration for bold colors comes straight from Blair Waldorf.  Think Season 2 Finale…the green jacket, yellow shoes, and gold blouse is major heart eyes (click here to see what I’m talking about).

Instead of green and yellow I opted for pink and red.  A classic combination if you are looking to introduce bold colors into your wardrobe.  They are in the same color family so pairing them together is easy to do.

This pink ruffled blouse is a statement by itself but when paired with red it really stands out.  I love the idea of standing out in a crowd.  I wore this gorgeous combo in New York recently.  In a sea full of black clothing I opted for color and I felt like Spring!  Nothing more magical than feeling confident in your favorite city.

So next time you get dressed opt for a bold color or two!

What I wore: Pink Ruffled Blouse (C/MEO Collective; Elitaire), Red Skirt (C/MEO Collective; Elitaire), Booties (Chinese Laundry)

    1. Thank you so much! I feel like bold looks you have to ease into! Start with one bold piece and then continue to add more when you feel more comfortable with the bold idea! haha
