This year Jmo and I will celebrate our 6th Valentine’s Day together, but our first as Kmo and Jmo (first married Valentine’s Day), and we could not be more excited.  We never do anything too crazy for Valentine’s Day, so I have no idea what we will do this year but I’m sure it will be fun.

For whatever we may do I already have my outfit planned. I got this gorgeous Adelyn Rae dress from Elitaire, it is this beautiful red and I am in love.  I know I have mentioned before that Red is not really my color, but recently I have really been loving it.  And it happens to be one of Jmo’s favorite colors on me, so I figured that would be ideal for Valentine’s Day.  Does wearing his favorite color on me count as a gift?

I’m only joking about the gift but in all honesty he probably would consider that a gift, he is pretty low maintenance! Haha!

Back to the outfit, for some reason I have really been loving red and baby blue together, something about it just makes sense.  And since it will be Valentine’s Day, which is typically a cooler day, I have paired my dress with this baby blue Frnch Coat from Elitaire.

I feel like this dress is a ruffle dream, you have the ruffled edges on the bottom of the dress and then again on the sleeves, it just feels so fun and flirty.  And speaking of flirty, I feel like what really makes a good Valentine’s Day outfit is the one that makes you feel good, something that gives you confidence, and maybe even a little flirty!  And if you plan to wear your PJ’s for Valentine’s Day, a red dress with ruffles can be worn for so many other occasions.  You could wear it for Girls Night, Date Night, Wedding, Party, and so much more, the options are endless!
