Skirts, my single most loved item in my closet. In the past few years I have really began to love wearing skirts as much as possible. The first time I fell in love with a specific skirt was back in October 2015.
It was back when Jmo and I went to New York to get our Engagement Pictures taken by Kelsey. I wore a skirt I had bought on a whim at Urban Outfitters, paired it with a sweater from Zara, and my favorite booties at the time. It was my favorite outfit for such a long time. I even wore it when I was elected President of my Sorority (which gave it more of a special feeling) and it was the outfit I was wearing in our Save the Date Pictures (which means no matter how old I am, this outfit is staying in my closet forever).
Since then, every time I find a cute skirt I buy it. I have no self control when it comes to cute skirts (and shoes). I have recently started pairing my skirts with over the knee boots and have been loving it. There is something about a cute skirt that makes me feel confident and ready to take on the world. If you do not have a piece of clothing in your closet that makes you feel that way I highly recommend trying out a skirt. Whether a mini skirt, midi skirt, or maxi skirt, try just one at least once!
